Tibumana Waterfall

Gunung Kawi Temple

Gunung Kawi Temple is an ancient site with impressive rock-cut shrines dating back to the 11th century! Here, you’ll see massive stone carvings on cliffs, which are the tombs of King Anak Wungsu and his queens. The journey from Tibumana Waterfall to here takes about 45 minutes. Not only is the history fascinating, but the surrounding views of rice fields and forest are also breathtaking. The entrance fee is around IDR 50,000. Remember to wear a sarong and modest clothing!   2. First Stop – Tegenungan Waterfall (08:45 AM – 10:15 AM):
    We’ll arrive at Tegenungan Waterfall around 08:45 AM. We’ll spend about 1.5 hours here enjoying the waterfall, taking photos, or even swimming in the natural pool. The view is stunning and the ambiance soothing. We’ll depart for the next destination at 10:15 AM.
  3. Second Stop – Tibumana Waterfall (10:45 AM – 12:00 PM):
    At 10:45 AM, we’ll reach Tibumana Waterfall. This spot is perfect for a peaceful retreat amidst nature. We’ll spend around 1 hour and 15 minutes here, enough to enjoy a swim or simply soak in the serene environment. After our visit, we’ll head to the next destination at 12:00 PM.
  4. Gunung Kawi Temple (12:45 PM – 02:15 PM):
    We’ll arrive at Gunung Kawi Temple at 12:45 PM. Here, we’ll explore the ancient temple, learn about its history, and take in the surrounding views for about 1.5 hours. This visit offers a deep dive into Balinese culture. We’ll move on to Tegallalang Rice Terrace at 02:15 PM.
  5. Tegallalang Rice Terrace (02:45 PM – 04:15 PM):
    We’ll reach Tegallalang Rice Terrace around 02:45 PM. Here, you can enjoy the iconic rice terraces, take a light trek, or experience the swing with views of the fields. We’ll spend approximately 1.5 hours here before heading back to Kuta at 04:15 PM.
  6. Return to Kuta (07:00 PM):
    After a day full of amazing sights and experiences, we’ll return to Kuta around 07:00 PM. This is the perfect time to reflect on the day’s adventures and cherish the unforgettable memories you’ve made!
